The James F. Burke Tribute Page

Cornet Soloist & Solo Chair with The Goldman Band: 1943-1974
"The last celebrated cornet soloist of the 20th century".

In addition to being one of the greatest cornet soloists in history, James Burke was equally gifted as a teacher and clinician. In 1964, he recorded an album titled "Clinician Series" for Golden Crest Records. It was hoped that this recording could be reproduced and offered as a CD. Unfortunately, the master recordings were damaged and thus, the only way to present these recordings to the general public is through this free download.
