     One of Jimmy's favorite composers was Walter B. Rogers. Rogers was a brilliant cornet soloist with Sousa's Band and one of the pre eminent soloists of his day.

    "The Columbian Fantasy", also known as "War Song" was one of Rogers' best compositions, and Jimmy gives a thrilling performance here in a live radio broadcast with the Cities Service Band of America, Paul LaValle conducting.
